My name is Juliane Leite. I’m Brazilian and an immigrant.
I grew up on the outskirts of São Paulo and studied Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp).
At 21, I left Brazil to learn English in Dublin, Ireland. I spent four years there as a student, experiencing first-hand the challenges that only immigrants truly understand.
With limited opportunities in Europe and visa restrictions narrowing my options, I decided to change course and move to Australia: the land of opportunity, as I had heard it described.
And that is exactly what I found. Australia has brought many milestones and achievements into my life, including the opportunity to call this country home.
My work supporting immigrants began unexpectedly: I started by helping people I knew, who then referred others to me. Over time, I realised this was the path I wanted to follow.
Because sometimes, all we need is a helping hand, whether it’s for a simple task or a more complex everyday challenge: making a phone call, visiting the bank or attending a specialist appointment.

The Big Helper’s role is to support you through the whole process, organising documents, keeping track of each stage and making sure nothing is overlooked.
Can I use this service if I already have a migration agent?
Yes. Many clients come to us with an agent already engaged and need help organising their documents, understanding each stage and having someone to talk to in their own language. The Big Helper’s work complements the agent’s work in a big way.
