Juliane Leite
My name is Juliane Leite. I’m Brazilian and an immigrant.
I grew up on the outskirts of São Paulo and studied Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp).
At 21, I left Brazil to learn English in Dublin, Ireland. I spent four years there as a student, experiencing first-hand the challenges that only immigrants truly understand.
With limited opportunities in Europe and visa restrictions narrowing my options, I decided to change course and move to Australia—the land of opportunity, as I had heard it described.
And that is exactly what I found. Australia has brought many milestones and achievements into my life, including the opportunity to call this country home.
My work supporting immigrants began unexpectedly: I started by helping people I knew, who then referred others to me. Over time, I realised this was the path I wanted to follow.
Because sometimes, all we need is a helping hand—whether it’s for a simple task or a more complex everyday challenge: making a phone call, visiting the bank or attending a specialist appointment.
I’m here to help.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What happens during the initial consultation?
Your first contact with us will usually be via WhatsApp. Tell us what you need help with and we’ll assess whether The Big Helper can assist or whether it would be best to refer you to a qualified professional.
If we can help, we’ll explain the next steps, fees, estimated timeframes and the documents required to get started.
What services does The Big Helper offer?
The Big Helper helps immigrants navigate the practical and administrative side of life in Australia. This includes organising documents, completing forms, booking appointments, handling consular matters, dealing with schools, attending medical appointments, accessing government services, setting up an ABN and GST, preparing documents for visa processes, and other everyday needs.
Every case is assessed individually, as support often involves more than one step or area.
Do I need to be Brazilian to use your services?
No. While The Big Helper has strong ties to Australia’s Brazilian community, our services are available to people of any nationality who need help with bureaucracy, documents, appointments and other practical aspects of daily life.
We assist clients in Portuguese, English and Spanish, providing clear, friendly and reassuring support to anyone finding their way through life in Australia.
Can I engage The Big Helper for just one part of the process?
Yes. Our support can be tailored to your needs.
Some people need help with the entire process, from organising documents and completing forms to ongoing administrative support. Others only need assistance with a particular step, such as reviewing documents, booking an appointment, filling out a form, understanding a letter, attending an appointment or planning what to do next.
Every case is assessed individually so that the support you receive is practical, clear and suited to your circumstances.
Are services available online and in person?
Yes. Many services can be provided online, by phone, email or WhatsApp, allowing us to assist clients across Australia.
In-person services—such as attending appointments, visiting government offices, schools or banks, or signing documents in the presence of a Justice of the Peace in NSW—depend on your location, our availability and the type of support required.
Is The Big Helper an education or migration agency?
No. The Big Helper is neither an education agency nor a migration agency.
We provide document organisation and administrative support for visa processes, based on each client’s needs and, where relevant, under the guidance of a registered migration agent.
That agent may be from one of our partner businesses or a registered migration agent chosen by the client.
Our role is to help you understand which documents need to be organised, gather information, prepare supporting evidence and make the process clearer and better structured. We do not replace the professional advice of a registered migration agent.
Do you translate documents?
The Big Helper can help you organise the documents that need to be translated and refer you to a trusted translation provider when required.
Official translations are completed by qualified professionals or specialist partner businesses.
Do you provide in-person support at medical appointments?
Yes. The Big Helper can accompany you to medical appointments, subject to availability and location.
This may include help with communication, organising documents, understanding information provided during the appointment, and helping you feel more confident and supported.
Important: this service is not a substitute for an accredited interpreter or healthcare professional. Hospitals, clinics or government agencies may require an accredited interpreter in some situations. If that applies, we’ll explain the available options.
How long will it take to resolve my case?
Timeframes vary depending on the type of service, the complexity of your case, third-party response times and how quickly the required documents are provided.
Once we understand your situation, we can give you a more realistic estimate and clarify which stages depend on you, The Big Helper or other organisations.
